Nurse arrested on sex charges

A male nurse from Mount Sinai Hospital was booked for alleged sex crimes against children, according to multiple reports.

CBS News and NorthJersey.com identified the suspect as Roland Densen, 38, a resident of Bergenfield, New Jersey. The reports say Densen faces charges of “sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and diseased person committing an act of sexual penetration,” quoting Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.

Jailbase.com is reporting that Densen is Filipino.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Bergenfield Police Department arrested Densen on May 18 after learning that he allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual activities with a juvenile male acquaintance, says NJ.com.

“The sexual abuse occurred over approximately a two-month period, the prosecutor said, and the victim had recently disclosed the abuse to his parents, who contacted authorities,” the news site says.

In lieu of $75,000 bail, Densen is currently in custody at the Bergen County Jail. Mugshotsworld.com describes him as weighing 140 pounds and being 5’7” in height with black hair and brown eyes.
