Producer Marc Anthony Nicolas wants to open doors for Filipino brands in ‘Price Is Right’  

Television producer and host Marc Anthony Nicolas has joined The Price Is Right as a producer for Season 55. Nicolas is a two-time Daytime Emmy Award winner with more than 15 years of television experience.

In his role, Nicolas develops and manages partnerships that bring prizes and audience giveaways to the CBS game show. 

“The Price Is Right has created joyful television moments for generations, and I am honored to contribute to that tradition,” said Nicolas. “My career has always brought together television production and brand partnerships. I am excited to help deliver memorable prizes and surprises for contestants and viewers throughout Season 55.”

Nicolas has spent more than 15 years producing daytime talk, game and lifestyle television. His credits include The Tyra Banks Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Talk and Let’s Make a Deal. During his time at The Talk, he served as the program’s first Filipino supervising producer and earned two Daytime Emmy Awards as part of the production team.

He is also the executive producer and host of Make Your Marc on GMA Pinoy TV, a 30-minute series featuring Global Filipino trailblazers. Make Your Marc has received a Telly Award and reaches Filipino audiences in more than 100 countries.

As a producer on the show, Marc said his role focuses on developing brand partnerships and prize integrations for contestants and the studio audience.

“I work with companies and feature their products and services on TPIR,” he said when reached by The FilAm. “A part of my work is helping open doors for Asian and Filipino-founded brands to be considered for this iconic American show. I want to spotlight the incredible businesses within our community and help bring those brands to a national audience in a way that feels authentic.”

The prizes can range from travel, hospitality, food and beverage, wellness, entertainment, and lifestyle experiences.

“My job is to help create the kinds of prizes that make contestants light up and scream, while giving brands a place within an iconic television show,” he continued. He said he  used to watch this show with his family growing up.

“It’s so surreal to be producing on a beloved show,” he said.

Marc Anthony Nicolas’s  many  honors include induction into the Asian Hall of Fame and President Joe Biden’s Lifetime Achievement Award from TOFA. He was born in the Philippines and raised in California.
