Pasko in America, an offshoot of the summer event Fiesta in America, will launch its Filipino Christmas festival on December 16, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

It will transform the venue – the second largest entertainment and retail center in the U.S. — into a nostalgic Filipino Christmas, replete with all the festive trimmings and shimmering lantern displays.

“Our event program and activities are designed to convey a threefold message about Pasko in America: it is your ultimate Filipino Christmas away from home, a conduit for bringing the Philippines’ Christmas Spirit to the East Coast, transporting you to a Filipino Christmasreminiscent of your cherished memories,” said CEO & President Fernando Mendez. Imagine caroling, Noche Buena feasts and aguinaldo gift-giving.

The activities lined up include school reunions, raffles from sponsors and exhibitors, parol making, Filipino food trucks, some fun games as well as community and artistic excellence awards.

Some Filipinos will be at the event to reunite with schoolmates while others will be showcasing their unique products and services.

A roster of Filipino musical talents from New York and New Jersey will perform from 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. This includes Broadway luminary Arielle Jacobs, known for her standout performances in “Here Lies Love” and a string of other Broadway hits.

Alongside her Filipino American castmates, she is set to captivate audiences at Pasko in America. Jacobs, who portrayed former Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos in “Here Lies Love,” brought a deeply personal touch to her role, drawing from her Filipino heritage.

Other performers include Isabelle Daza De Leon, an actress, singer-songwriter and beauty queen. She garnered a FAMAS Best Child Actress award for her role in “Magnifico.” Boi Angel, an emerging singer-songwriter, has been creating buzz in the music industry with his unique blend of alternative R&B, rap, and pop.

Fourteen-year-old Camille de la Cruz from New Jersey is a singer-songwriter who has amassed over 20 million views on her Instagram reels and is growing her social media following to over 100k followers.

“Pasko will transport you to the heartwarming Christmas traditions in your provinces right here in the U.S.,” said Mendez.
