Juliet Arnobit De Los Reyes, former corporate executive of GMA Network, Inc., passed away on July 17, 2013 in Henderson, Nevada after a yearlong battle with brain cancer. She was 56.

Known to friends and family as “Jonjie” or “JJ”, De Los Reyes is survived by her husband Byron Norgren De Los Reyes and sons Brian Julian, David Christopher, and Michael Patrick. She also leaves behind her parents, Eleuterio Arnobit and Dafne Calderon Arnobit, and brothers Terry, Vic, and Ed, all of Honolulu, Hawaii. One brother, Rene, lives in Manila.

As vice president for business development and head of international sales and marketing at GMA Network from 2002 to 2005, De Los Reyes led the launch of the network in North America and Guam. GMA Network is one of the largest broadcasting and media companies in the Philippines.

As an advertising and marketing expert, she worked for Ace Saatchi & Saatchi advertising agency, National Bookstore, and Habitat for Humanity Philippines. As a marketing consultant, she handled an anniversary event for Philippine News, a San Francisco-based newspaper.

Parlaying her professional experience into teaching, De Los Reyes taught Brand Communications, a course she co-developed with Northwestern University in Illinois, at the University of Asia and the Pacific (Philippines) from 1998 to 2003.

Born and raised in Quezon City, Philippines, De Los Reyes attended high school at Stella Maris College, and obtained her business degree from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. She attended graduate school in marketing and communication at UP Diliman, Ateneo School of Business, and De La Salle University.

De Los Reyes’ remains are at the Davis Funeral Home at 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada. Viewing and a memorial service have been set for Friday, July 26, at 2 p.m.
