She fulfills many fashion dreams of hardworking women with “champagne taste but beer money” when it comes to designer accessories from Prada purses to jewelry to YSL shoes. Now she fulfills aspirations of “Dancing Queen and Prince” to land right up the alley of the popular “Dancing with the Stars” (DWTS).

Maryann Samadi, well known in the Filipino communities of Los Angeles as the woman behind RSG jewelry, who offers pre-owned luxury purses, shoes and high carat diamonds at the Little Tokyo Market also engages in producing the show “Dancing Like the Stars” (DLTS) for the terpsichorean at heart.

Set for this Saturday June 27, “Dancing Like the Stars Part III Dance Exhibition and Competition” dedicates its proceeds to Maryann’s favorite educational charity in San Miguel, Bulacan, where she traces her roots.

“We’re now on our third season of this contest-exhibition and I did not really imagine that our community would come out in full support,” says the President of RSG.

The dance event will be held in a five-star hotel Omni at the affluent Bunker Hill district west of downtown LA.

Dancing Like the stars flyer“Dancing Like the Stars” is one of the many fund-raising projects that RSG Foundation has spearheaded to finance the projects that Mary Ann has lined up including building a public library in Bulacan and providing computers that students and children can use for their studies.

For the last 27 years the energetic petite has been sharing her blessings with San Miguel residents during a “Noche Buena’ (Christmas Eve) food distribution. She said at least 3,500 residents have received the food bags every Christmas Eve every year, for the last 27 years.
Maryann and her husband Besa Masih express their gratitude to the sponsors and participants of the contest.
