Community leaders to speak for Obama, Romney in debate

Loida Nicolas Lewis with President Obama

Two community leaders will engage in a political debate representing their presidential candidates.

New York philanthropist Loida Nicolas will articulate the position of the Democratic party and incumbent President Barack Obama, while California businesswoman Nimfa Gamez will take the side of the Republican candidate Mitt Romney. During the town hall-style debate, the two executives will discuss immigration, health care, the economy, among other hot-button topics. The debate will air November 1 and 2 on The Filipino Channel or TFC.

Nicolas Lewis chairs the organization US Pinoys for Good Governance while Gamez founded the Mission Hope Day programs in California.

After the debate airs, undecided voters in the audience will cast their unofficial votes, and the results will be aired on TFC’s Balitang America on November 5th, the eve of the elections.

Do we really need to DEBATE? If someone is too mentally-detached to realize America is far worse off after 4 yrs of this presidency, by all means – please vote for Barack Obama. You DESERVE more punishment.
