Here’s Metro D.C.’s after-Easter calendar

1892093-spring-clip-artWith spring in full swing Filipinos in the metropolitan area will have their hands full with different fun filled activities. There will be cultural shows to community dialogues and conferences to community get together over the “tapsilog” and of course different alumni homecoming parties. Below is a list of activities everyone can enjoy.

April 10 (Friday) –April 12 (Sunday): Filipino Intercollegiate Network Dialogue Conference. Hosted by District VI at the University of Maryland College Park. The theme is “Lakas Loob: Strength without Shame.” Contact Anika Aquino at Aquino@cardinalmail.cua.edu. 

April 11 (Saturday)–April 12 (Sunday): George Washington University Philippine Cultural Society Culture Show (Tandaan XV). Program includes a play written and produced by students, cultural dances, and Filipino food. Contact Regina Del Carmen or Kelsey Genuino at pcsculturalshow@gmail.com.

April 18 (Saturday), from 9:00 a.m. – noon: Philippine American Foundation for Charities (PAFC) Salu-Salo. Fil-American Multicultural Center, 7500 Livingston Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20744. April 18, (Saturday) from 7:00 p.m.– midnight: Fil-Am Association of Manassas and the Washington Metropolitan Area Silver Anniversary Celebration. Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel, 900 South Orme Street, Arlington, VA 22204. Registration from 6:00 P.M. – 7:00 p.m.; attire is formal. April 24 (Friday), from 7:00 p.m. –midnight : The College of the Holy Spirit Metro Washington DC Chapter Spring Fling 2015.
