‘Sisterakas’ screens in New Jersey Feb 1 to 7
“Sisterakas,” the top grossing film in the recent Metro Manila Film Festival, will screen in American theaters from February 1st. Three of the theaters are in New Jersey.
The movie, jointly produced by ABS-CBN Star Cinema and Viva Films, is described as an “outlandish comedy.” It stars Philippines’ Queen of All Media Kris Aquino and Box Office Comedy Queen Ai-Ai De Las Alas. They are supported by a cast composed of seasoned and young actors Tirso Cruz III, Gloria Diaz, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, and Xyriel Manabal.
At the heart of this film is a story of family, ambition, adultery, attempted murder, revenge, and sibling rivalry.
“Yes, it is a cinematic circus of madness at its best that guarantees viewers a good rollicking fun ride with laugh-a-minute misadventures of scheming beings,” said a press statement. Watch the trailer here.
