GMA international channels now on Xfinity X1
GMA Network’s international channels GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV are now distributed in all Comcast service areas via Xfinity X1.
Following Comcast’s recent expansion of international channels on Xfinity X1, GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV are now available across its footprint, coast-to-coast.
“We are pleased to share with our beloved Kapuso abroad that GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV are now available in more areas through Xfinity’s footprint in the United States. We look forward to making more Filipinos abroad feel closer to home by providing the Kapuso brand of entertainment and news programming,” said GMA First Vice President and Head of International Operations Joseph T. Francia.
GMA Pinoy TV is the flagship international channel of broadcast giant, GMA Network. It delivers news and entertainment programming to almost 60 countries in North America, the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and Asia Pacific. It was recently inducted into the first-ever Excellence in Multicultural Marketing Awards (EMMA) Top 5 Wall of Distinction, recognized for its “commitment to excellence in multicultural marketing.” The EMMA Awards is based in New York.
GMA Pinoy TV has won the most EMMAs year after year since 2013. It is joined by an elite group of some of the biggest media companies, such as HBO, Univision Communications, Comcast NBCUniversal, and BET Networks.

Since its launch in 2005, GMA Pinoy TV has been consistently recognized by NAMIC for its noteworthy marketing using various media outlets that have resulted in better engagement with the channel’s carriers and subscribers.
The global network GMA International (GMAI) earned its first EMMA in 2006 and has earned a total of 33 EMMAs to date.
